Heading up North for a few weeks. Gonna play a few shows. Looking forward to the cooler weather. Some days I really understand why my sister Meghan left Hawaii early on. Us Higgins's weren't meant to live in tropical climates and I spend a good chunk of my time hiding from the suns rays. This'll be a vacay/music trip, with probably some jam sessions intermingled with hikes and maybe a few other adventures. I haven't spent much time north of the border so it should be neat, eh. There's something magical about exploring a new place and sharing part of yourself with it. It's an exchange of physical, mental, spiritual proportions. God I sound like a zen'd out tree-hugger. Maybe that's ok. I'm tryna let myself be less judgy and not put preconceptions on who I am. There I go again. Straight trippin.
